The BIO on my twitter reads:
MOM, life manager, technophile, wannabe foodie, frustrated photographer, food truck chaser, aspiring blogger, tea lover, & slave to chocolate.
I have to add love foodtrucks to that.
Gourmet Food Trucks (GFTs) and GFT events allows me as a mom to a tweener (who likes to try new things) and a toddler (who can’t sit still) to share good and sometimes new food with them. It allows my tweener to try new cuisines without the pressures of dining out on a restaurant and allows my little one to try out without committing to it. And that is just one part of our “adventure” and the other part is if it’s a foreign cuisine we get to explore that country through its food.
When I go out to events and to try trucks we’ve never tried before, I do not introduce who I am simply because I’d like my experience to be as pure as possible. I pay for all my meals and I don’t get any VIP treatments in any events. And that’s why I expect good customer service, good food and with the right order when I walk away.
My initial focus was GFTs but as we become more adventurous please allow me to post anything food-related and this may include restaurants, specialty food stores and the like.
This blog was born because I wanted to leave something on the world wide web for my kids. That’s why it’s important for me to post pictures of things that are important to US. At the same time, I would also like to share to the readers our experience. And hopefully the readers will like what’s featured here.
