It’s Granada Hills Fridays and my little crew is ready to hit the streets. I just posted an entry on Pogi Boy earlier in the day (read it here) and Gib got a hold of it and offered me Chicken Adobo Fries on the house. How can I refuse? The trip also gave me an opportunity to try out the Chicken Adobo Lettuce Wrap and get some Turon.

Chicken Adobo Fries
The Chicken Adobo Fries is just like it’s Chicken Adobo over rice except it’s over fries with the nice addition of sour cream, cheese and parsley. Personally, I like my fries crispy and by itself without toppings. However, if you like stuff like chili cheese fries may I suggest this dish. Definitely tasty.

Chicken Adobo Lettuce Wrap
For the carb conscious, you now have an option. Meet Chicken Adobo Lettuce Wrap. You have fresh crispy green leaf lettuce, top it with chicken adobo meat and crispy rice noodles, drizzle with a mildly spicy peanut based sauce then wrap lettuce around. Let me tell you, this dish does not leave me craving for rice. The sauce makes this dish. Truly delicious.
Now in my previous Pogi Truck post (which you can read HERE), I mentioned that I forgot to take a picture of the Turon with Sea Salt Caramel. Well, here it is. Just as yummy and delicious.

Turon with Sea Salt Caramel
So there’s you’re Chicken Adobo Two Ways ala Pogi Truck. One that’s carb-heavy, Chicken Adobo Fries, and one that’s low-carb, Chicken Adobo Lettuce Wrap. And to end the meal, you got the Turon with Sea Salt Caramel. Winner!
